Skydiving Holidays Skydive Zone have organised and run more than 100 skydiving "holidays". Our largest consisted of a group of 59 people! Over the years we have run trips to Florida (USA), Germany, Spain, Czech Republic, Cyprus & Northern Ireland. All of these locations have their pro's and cons but our most popular destinations have been both Florida (USA) & Spain. We conducted almost 40 trips to EACH of these! It's worth taking into account the time of year that you want to learn when planning your trip. We tend to run Florida trips towards the end of the year in order to avoid the sweltering heat of summer closely followed by Tornado season! Anytime between September and April is usually OK. As with everything there are always pro's and cons. The really great things about our Florida trips are: It's close to Daytona Beach, There's plenty to do, Orlando trips to the Wind Tunnel are a regular event, the accommodation is excellent, the food's great and the dropzone is fantastic. It really is a holiday! The down side is that it involves a 10 hour flight out (slightly shorter coming back because of the jet stream) so it's worth taking into account that you'll lose 2 days to travelling if you are restricted on time. Jet lag goes hand in hand with the 5 hour time difference and the trip itself is more expensive then the European option. If time and/or cost is a factor or, if you'd prefer to stay a little closer to home then the Spain trip is less expensive, and much quicker and easier to get to, but the skydiving is just as good! Included in the price is the flight cost, your accommodation, car hire AND your skydiving course with video! We think you'll be very pleasantly surprised by the price and be very hard pushed to beat it! The location is very close to Madrid so you are much less likely to be affected by the extreme weather conditions suffered by the South of Spain where the temperatures often reach an unbearable 46 degrees in the summer. Having completed almost 40 trips to EACH of these destinations our experience in this area is second to none and we only work with other companies with equally matched reputations. We hope to have offered some guidance here but doubt that we'll have answered all of your questions. Please feel free to fire them at us in an email and we'll do our very best to answer them for you. |
