Spinal Injuries Association

SIA is dedicated to helping people who are paralysed through spinal cord injury. We are enormously proud to be chosen 'Official Charity' of the 2008 Flora London Marathon and with hundreds of charity places for the big race we're taking this wonderful opportunity to raise awareness and support for the 40,000 people living with spinal cord injury.

Every day three people somewhere in the UK damage their spinal cord and become paralysed. The impact of sudden paralysis on individuals and their families can be devastating. SIA's remit is to provide crucial specialist help to rebuild lives - today and for every day it is needed.
