Clatterbridge Cancer Research Trust provides world class cancer research for the benefit of people on the Wirral and Merseyside. CCRT is a charity and is in no way funded by the NHS. Voluntary donations are relied upon to raise £1.5 million per year to fund the ongoing work taking place in the laboratories. This is raised through generous donations from individuals, businesses and various fundraising events through out the year. This money is used to research the genetic factors which cause cancer, with the aim of finding and developing better treatments for people on the Wirral and Merseyside.
