Bowel Cancer is the second most common cause of cancer death in the UK affecting both men and women equally. Every year 38,000 people are diagnosed with the disease and 16,250 of this number will die. However, if diagnosed early, bowel cancer is highly treatable.
Bowel Cancer UK aims to save lives by raising awareness of bowel cancer, campaigning for best treatment and care and providing practical support and advice. One way we do this is through our freephone Advisory Service line which is 0800 8 40 35 40. This service is staffed by a team of specialist colorectal, stoma care and oncology nurses.
As a voluntary organization, Bowel Cancer UK relies greatly on public support to help us continue with our saving life work. For more information on our work please visit our website www.bowelcanceruk.org.uk
A tandem parachute jump in aid of Bowel Cancer UK is a very exciting way of supporting our work.
We have produced a Fundraising Pack full of fundraising ideas, useful tips and guidance to help you with your fundraising activities.
