INTRODUCTION
Parachute jumps and Tandem Skydives are, as a sponsored event, a rewarding, exciting and fun way of generating much needed income for charities and non profit organisations throughout the UK. In return for raising a minimum amount of sponsorship the fundraiser is able to complete their jump at no cost to themselves. Without this incentive many people would, simply, not be able to afford to complete a skydive (those on low incomes, students etc).

WHO ARE WE?
Skydive Zone was founded early in 1997 and rapidly became one of the most established and well known schools in the UK. After being approached by a charity that was keen to improve and increase their service, we took on the task of arranging fundraising jumps on their behalf. Since then more than 90 other charity and non profit organisations have put their trust in Skydive Zone. You can find a list of these here on our site. The majority of these charities and non profit organisations have previously dealt with other companies that have failed to satisfy their needs. There are no companies that offer the complete service that Skydive Zone does. We are able to do this for a number of reasons but mainly because we are not a promotions company, we are a skydiving company, run by people that skydive! Alex, has completed more than 3,000 skydives, is an instructor at every level of the sport and jumps every single weekend. He often jumps with many of the fundraisers themselves; it doesn’t get more personal than that!

OUR COMMITMENT
We are committed to looking after the charities and non profit organisations that we represent as well as the fundraising “customers” that are prepared to throw themselves out of aeroplanes to help raise money. In addition to this we are obliged to deal with the parachute centres around England, Scotland and Northern Ireland in a professional manner. We personally know the operators of these centres through our own personal history in the sport. The benefit to your organisation is that everyone gets the very best treatment throughout the whole process of completing a jump ensuring that the maximum is gained from the experience. This certainly increases to chances of the sport, and indeed charity jumping, being promoted more. We all gain from this.

BENEFITS TO YOU AND YOUR ORGANISATION

  1. More money for you! – You will receive a MINIMUM of £140 per jumper. We are confident that this is more than other companies currently offer. This is simply because of the charges made by the agent arranging the jumps for you.
  2. Pro-active marketing – We actively market charity jumping ourselves. On our website you’ll get your own page, logo, links, as much text/pictures as you like and the chance to use us as another avenue to promote other areas of your organisation. There is no cost or charge for this service and our web team at Krystal Solutions have agreed to create and make any alterations to “your” page as often as you wish, free of charge. All charities working with us are also listed on info packs sent out directly from us to non fundraising enquiries.
  3. Qualified and knowledgeable personnel – Andy is in the office full time and has spent over 54 hours in freefall….ask him anything!
  4. We have a live help facility on our website which allows anyone with a question to click a button and “talk” live to an instructor right there and then! This has never been offered in this industry before by anyone and was implemented to allow you to pass this service on to potential fundraisers that may have doubts, questions or queries that your organisation is unable to answer either because of the lack of staffing or knowledge. The only silly question is the one you don’t ask!
  5. Easy, hassle free, administration – No extra work involved for you, in fact we believe you will have considerably less administration to do, and more money to count!
  6. Frequent and accurate reporting – Accurate reports detailing any new bookings and completed jumpers, will be sent to you keeping you in the picture at all times.
  7. Sponsorship is collected and delivered to you by Skydive zone. Parachute centres are there to run parachute operations and would rather not be involved in collecting charity donations. Collecting on your behalf ensures that cheques are not being handled unnecessarily, delayed or lost and, that you aren’t paying to have your funds collected!
  8. Always contactable – On hand 7 days a week to take questions, bookings or general enquiries.
  9. Comprehensive information cd-rom supplied - For sending to your enquirers, including videos and printable packs which are professional, accurate and informative. This is a much more fun and interactive “brochure”. You are welcome to personalise this cd to your charity.
  10. Website material supplied – We can supply pictures and text as required as well as a PDF downloadable information packs, allowing interested parties to get their information directly from your website. There is no cost.
  11. Fun and friendly approach – This is our sport and hobby as well as our job. We have taught hundreds of students to skydive and on many occasions are lucky enough to share that first jump experience with them because Andy is the instructor that many of our customers jump with.
  12. Ability to arrange jumps for your fundraisers at ALL parachute centres in England, Scotland and N. Ireland That is at over 20 locations. As a skydiving company ourselves we have established and maintained an excellent relationship with all of the parachute centres in the UK.
  13. Fundraisers are not steered or restricted to particular dates that allow the organiser to benefit from a more profitable rate. Your fundraisers can pick their own date throughout the year.

If you would like to know exact differences between our services and your current supplier then please don’t hesitate to contact us. We would be very happy to explain, in more detail, the costing, reasons and incentives to you so that you can decide for yourselves where the best interests of your organisation lie.
